(2) The nomi;latcd authorilY shall also give a report of any inspeclion ,made b)' it under section 3 to the Chicf Fire Officer.

_//5. POWER TO SEAL nUILOINGS OR PREMISES: (I)WHERE.

ON RECElPr OF A REPORT FROM THE NO'"NATEO AUTHOR lIT UNDER SUB·SECTION (2) OF SECTION 4, IT APPEARS TO THE CHIEI; ARE OFFICER THAT THE CONDITION OF ANY BUILDING OR PREMISES IS DANGEROUS TO LIFE OR PROPERTY. HE SHALL. WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO ANY ACTION TAKF.N UNDER SECTION 7. BY ORDER. REQUmE THE PERSONS IN POSSESSION OR OCCUPATION OF SUCH BUILDING OR PREMISES TO REMOVE THEMSELVES FROM SUCH BUILDiNG OR PREMISES FORTHWITH.

(2) If an order made b.v the Chief Fire Officer under sub-section (I) is not complied with. the Chief Fire Officer may dir«:l any police ~ffi~er having jurisdiction in the a:ea to remove such pe~ons from (he bUIldIng or ~remises and such offic~r shaH comply with such direclions.

(3) After [he rcmLlval of lIle· person$. under sub·seclion (I) Ot sub­ .tt<:tion (2), as the cce may be. the Chief rut: Officer shall seal the building or premise~.

6. Provision r(garding c(rlain buildings and pnmisu. (il) the l;"ullditiollS imposed. if any. by the Chief Administn.tor at the time of the sanction or the pl"n of lhe said building or prunise.s; end

(iii) the minimum statldards ror Lhe prevention and rtre wery measwes ,:pccified for such building or premises as may be ~i!ied by rulc.~ framed under this Ael. iss~e a nolice to l~e OW,1er or occupier of such building or p1emi~s' staling therein lIle inadequ.acy In regard to lhe fi.c prevcnuon :lOll rU"C safety m~urCl in it and dirCCI Ihe owner or occupier 10 undertake measures for rect..ifying the s:.Iid inadcqu:lC)' within 5uch period u he may consider just and reasonab1C'. .

11, DEFAULT rOWERS OF THE CIIIEF FIRE OffiCER : (1) ruE CHIEF ARE OFFICER SHALL. IN THE EVENT OF NON· CO \1PLlANCE OF ANY NOTICE ISSUED UNDER SECnON 4 OR SEl'TION 6. TAKE'SUCH S1EPS AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR TItr: COMPLIANCE OF SUCH NOTICE.

(2) All expenses incurred by the Chief Fire Officer in relation to any SlepS I.3ken b)' him unller sub-section (I) ~a11 ~ ~ybale by the owner or occupier on demand and shall, if not pald WllhlO ten days after such demand. be ((coverable as arrears of land revenue.

(a) "Company" means a body corpornte and includes a form or olher association of indivM:tuals: and
