Every stage carriage which has been allotted specified route shall carry route plan duly attested by the Secretary of the State Transport Authority showing the place of origin, termination via and detailed route it has to follow. The detailed route plans shall be exhibited inside the vehicle also giving the road map it shall follow unless specifically prohibited by the Delhi Traffic Police at the time of emergency. A fare table giving details of fare from one stage to another duly attested by the Secretary, State Transport Authority shall also be displayed permanently inside stage carriage.
29. Substituted vide notification no. F. 19 (74)/Tpt/2000/Sectt./315 dated 23-08-2004 D E L H I M O T O R V E H I C L E S R U L E S , 1 9 9 3 25 30 [59. Fees to be paid in respect of permits.-[(1) The following fees shall be payable for the issue and the renewal of permit and for the countersignature of permits under the Act, namely:-.
Type of Vehicle Fee Payable
(a) For issue of renewal of permit valid for five years in case of an auto-rickshaw.

(b) For issue or renewal of permit valid for five years in case of a local taxi (DL- 1T,DL-1Y and DL-1N) Rs.1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred)
(c) For issue renewal or countersignature of permit valid for five years in case of a light motor vehicle, light goods vehicle and medium goods/passengers vehicles and DL-1Z and DL-1RX Taxis.
Rs.2000/-(Rupees two thousand)
(d) For issue renewal or countersignature of permit valid for five years in case of a heavy motor vehicle, heavy goods vehicle.
Rs. 2500/-( Rupees two thousand and five hundred)
(e) For transfer of permit in case of an auto-rickshaw and local taxi.
Rs. Rs.2000/-(Rupees two thousand)
(f) For transfer of permit in case of other commercial transport vehicles including tourist taxis DL-1Y, DL-1Z and DL-1N) Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand)
Provided that when an agreement is entered into between the State Transport Authority and any other Transport Authority in respect of the operation of any route joining two terminal points one of which lies or both of which lie outside the State and such agreement provides for the remission or reduction of the fees payable for countersignature of permits, the State Transport Authority may remit or reduce the fee accordingly:
Provided further where a temporary permit or countersignature is granted pending consideration of the application for permit or for countersignature under the Act, or for renewal of permit or countersignature under the Act, the State Transport Authority may, at its discretion at the time of granting a regular permit or countersignature or sanctioning renewal of permit or countersignature as the case may be, direct that a sum equal to a part or the whole of any fees paid for temporary permit shall be deducted from the fees payable for regular permit or countersignature.
(2)In the case of reserve of stage carriages the fees payable shall be calculated on the maximum number of vehicle which the permits holder is authorized to have in operation at any one time.
(3)(i) The last date for depositing the fee for renewal of permit shall be fifteen days prior to the date of expiry of the permit.
(ii)If any fee is not paid by the due date, the following late fee shall be payable for the renewal of permit:-

(4) if the holder of the Permit has expired and transfer of permit is applied in the name of a legal heir after thirty days from the death of the permit holder, the penalty at the rate of rupees three per day in case of auto-rickshaw rupees five per day in case of local taxi and rupees ten per day in case of other vehicle shall be charged.
(5)If any fee is not paid by the due date in case of All India Tourist Permit, national Permit or Inter State Permit or the counter signature (as the case may be) such permit or the countersignature (as the case may be) shall forthwith cease to be valid and a late fee at the rate of rupees twenty per day shall be paid by the vehicle owner before the issue/renewal thereof.
(6)In case the State Transport Authority extends the effects of a permit to an area or route in another State, a supplementary fee shall be payable at the same rate as if the permit has been countersigned for the second region.
(7)For a temporary permit granted under section 87 of the Act, a fee of Rupees one hundred per day shall be payable.
(8)The fee for a temporary permit or temporary countersignature issued or renewed for a period of four months at a time shall be rupees one thousand only.
Provided that the State Transport Authority may attach to a temporary permit or temporary countersignature a condition that the fee shall be paid at the same rates as if a temporary permit or temporary countersignature was a long-term permit or a long-term countersignature.
(9)The fee payable for issue of a duplicate temporary permit for four months or part thereof shall be rupees two hundred.]
