The Delhi Narcotic Drugs Rules, 1985Union territory Rules of Delhi · 1985

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 4, Opium may be purchased by the Excise Commissioner or any other authority specially authorised by the Administration in this behalf, from the Government Opium Factory, Ghazipur for use by the addicts registered with the Delhi Administration.

(2) The opium received in accordance with sub-rule (1) may be kept in District Treasury with proper security arrangement.
