Dated: 02.09.2014 NOTIFICATION No. F. 8(34)/2014/DAM/MR/1886 . – Whereas the draft of notification to cease the regulation of marketing of “Fruits” and “Vegetables” agricultural produce pertaining to such items under clauses ‘VII. Fruits -’ and ‘XIV. Vegetables -’as shown in THE SCHEDULE to the Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1998 by the three marketing committees namely APMC MNI Azadpur, APMC Keshopur and APMC Shahdara in their respective market areas in the National Capital Territory of Delhi was published as required by section 3 of the said Act in the Delhi Gazette Part-IV Extra-Ordinary, dated the 19th June, 2014 of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within a period of 45 days from the date on which copies of the Delhi Gazette, in which the said notification was published, were made available to the public; And, whereas the copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 20th June, 2014; And, whereas objections and suggestions received from the public in respect of the said draft notification have been duly considered by the Government; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 4 of the Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1998, and in supersession of notification nos. F.50(3)/77-DAM (i) dated 14.01.77, F.6(11)/78-DAM/7371- 92 dated 21.11.78, F.8/4/83-DAM/MR (i) dated 01.12.92, F.8(2)/85-DAM/MR/Vol.II/420 dated 29.01.2001 and F.8/4/83-DAM/MR (iii) dated 01.12.1992 in so far as they relate to Fruits and Vegetables mentioned in the schedule to the above Act, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to declare that regulation of marketing of fruits and vegetables mentioned above shall cease beyond the markets/market yards/sub-yards of the respective marketing committees namely APMC MNI Azadpur, APMC Keshopur and APMC Shahdara, with immediate effect, and henceforth market areas of these committees with respect to fruits and vegetables shall have the following boundaries: -:2:-
1. APMC MNI Azadpur (Market Yard) - The place now occupied by NSM, Azadpur and new Fruit Market, Sarai Pipal Thala but excluding the abadi area of village Bharola and Sarai Pipal Thala and bounded by – North-East : G.T. Karnal Road. North-West : Rajasthan Udyog Boundary. South-West : Railway Line. South-East : Ring Road.
(i) (Sub-Yard) New Railway Station, Azadpur (Fruit Siding) area bounded by the following: North-East : Railway Line. North-West : Road leading to Shalimar Village. South-West : Eastern boundary of Shalimar Bagh. South-East : North western boundary of Shalimar Bagh.
(ii) (Sub-Yard) Fruit and Vegetables Market Okhla area bounded by the following: North-East : Railway Line. North-West : DTC Okhla Depot. South-West : 100’ Wide Road leading to Modi Flour Mills. South-East : Flatted factories complex.
(iii) (Sub-Yard) Market at Mangolpuri: East : Ordnance Depot Shakur Basti. West : Mangolpuri Industrial Area, Phase-II. North : Mangolpuri Industrial Area, Phase-II, South : Delhi Rohtak Railway Line.
