Section 24: Delegation of powers.

The Delhi Primary Education Act, 1960Central Act · Act 39 of 1960

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification, authorise any officer or authority subordinate to it to exercise all or any of the powers conferred on the State Government by or under this Act.

(2) A local authority may, by general or special order and with the previous approval of the State Government, authorise any officer or authority subordinate to it to exercise all or any of the powers conferred on a local authority by or under this Act.
