Delhi Prisons Act,2000Union territory Act of Delhi · Act 2 of 2002

(1) Civil prisoners may, with the permission of Superintendent, and subject to such restrictions as the Superintendent may impose, work and follow any trade or profession available in prison.

(2) Civil prisoners finding their own implements, and not maintained at the expense of the prison, shall be allowed to receive the whole of their earnings, but the earnings of such as are furnished with implements or are maintained at the determined by the Superintendent for the use of implements and the cost of maintenance.
