Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999Central Rules · 1969

(1) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999.

(2) They extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

(3) They shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of January,2000.

(4) These rules shall replace the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1970 and all subsequent amendments there of notified from time to time.
