Section 12: Constitution of the Town Vending Committee

Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2014.Central Rules · 2014

(1) ln each Local Authority one Town vending committee shall be constituted by the Government:

Provided that the Government may, if it considers necessary, on the request of the concerned Local Authority may provide for constitution of more than one town vending committees for each local authority after specifying their jurisdiction.

(2) The constitution of a Town vending committee shall be as follows, namely:- S.No. Government D!mtt/Other Bodies No. of members

(a) Government Departments/ Bodiesi. Medical Officer 01 ii. PWD 01 iii. Traffic Police 02 iv. Police 02 v . Local Authority(lncluding Chairperson) 06

(b) Other bodiesvi. Street vendors 12 vii. Market!fraders Associations 01

(3) The members of the Town vending committee except the elected members shall be nominated by the Government
