Section 12: Standards of performance

The Electricity (Amendment) Rules, 2020Central Rules · 2003

(1) The Commission shall notify the standards of performance for the distribution licensees as per sub-section (1) of section 57 of the Act and in consonance with the rules or regulations made thereunder.

(2) The Commission shall determine the compensation amount to be paid to the consumers by the distribution licensees for violation of standards of performance as per sub-section (2) of Section 57 of the Act.
