Section 4: Validation of action taken before the application of the Act

The Employees State Insurance (Extension to the Tribal Areas of Meghalaya) Act No.2, 1998.State Act of Meghalaya · Act 2 of 1999

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3 of this act no action taken or proceeding initiated under the provisions of the EISA in any part of the tribal areas before the commencement of this Act shall be invalid merely by reason that the EISA as so extended and brought into force by this Act would have had a prospective application.
