Section 6: Nodal agency

G.S.R. 535(E)- Environment (Protection) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2013.Central Rules · 1986

(1) The Central Pollution Control Board shall be the nodal agency for implementation of these stipulations.

(2) In case of any dispute or difficulty in implementation of these rules the matter shall be referred to the nodal agency.

(3) The nodal agency shali constitute a Standing Committee for emission related issues and a National Committee for noise related issues, respectively to advice it on all matters related to the implementation of these rules including the dispute, if any.
