Section 20: Terms of office of members of the Governing Body and filling of vacancies

G.S.R 618 - Sree Chitra Tirunal Insititue for Medical Science and Technology Act.Central Regulations · 1980

(i) The term of office of the Chairman shall be coterminus with his term of office as President.

(ii) The term of office of a member of the Governing Body shall continue as long as he is a member of the Institute.

(iii) The term of office of a member nominated by the Central Government under sub-regulation (vii) of regulation 11 shall cease as soon as he ceases to be member of the Insti tute or till he is replaced by the Central Government whichever is earlier.

(iv) The term of office of the Professor nominated by the President under Sub-regulation (viii) of regulation 11 shall cease as soon as he ceases to be a Professor of the Institute or till he is replaced by the President, whichever is earlier.
