1. संिᭃ᳙ नाम और ᮧारंभ.- (1) इन िनयमᲂ का संिᭃ᳙ नाम कंपनी (िनदशेकᲂ कᳱ िनयुिᲦ और अहᭅता) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2023 ह।ै
(2) ये िनयम 23 जनवरी, 2023 से ᮧवᱫृ हᲂगे।
2. कंपनी (िनदशेकᲂ कᳱ िनयुिᲦ और अहᭅता) िनयम, 2014 (िजसे इसमᱶ इसके प᳟ात् उᲦ िनयम कहा गया ह)ै
(1) िनयम 14 मᱶ, – स.ं 37] नई ᳰद᭨ली, शुᮓवार, जनवरी 20, 2023/पौष 30, 1944 No. 37] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2023/PAUSHA 30, 1944 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-27012023-243215 CG-DL-E-27012023-243215 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (क) उपिनयम (1) मᱶ “उपधारा 2 के अधीन ᮧᱨप डीआईआर-8 मे अपनी िनहताᭅओ के बारे मᱶ ” श᭣दᲂ के पहले और “धारा 164 कᳱ” श᭣दᲂ के प᳟ात् “उपधारा (1) या” श᭣द और अंक अंत:᭭थािपत ᳰकए जाएगें;
(ख) उपिनयम (1) के प᳟ात्, िन᳜िलिखत अत:᭭थािपत ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत:्- “(1क) जब कभी भी कोई कंपनी ᮧᱨप डीआईआर-8 मᱶ सूचना ᮧा᳙ करती ह ैतो कंपनी ऐसी ᮧाि᳙ के तीस ᳰदनᲂ के भीतर रिज᭭ᮝार के पास ᮧᱨप डीआईआर-9 फाइल करेगी।” (ग) उपिनयम 5 मᱶ, “ᮧᱨप डीआईआर 10 मᱶ” श᭣दᲂ और अकंᲂ के प᳟ात् और “ᳰदया जाएगा” श᭣दᲂ के ᭭थान पर “और ᮧादिेशक िनदशेक के समᭃ फाइल ᳰकया जाएगा” श᭣द अंत:᭭थािपत ᳰकए जाएगें;

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the 23rd day of January, 2023.
2. In the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014,-
(a) in rule 14, -
(i) in sub-rule (1) after the words “disqualification under”, the words, brackets and figure “sub-section (1) or” shall be inserted;
(ii) after sub-rule (1), following shall be inserted, namely:- “(1A) Whenever a company receives the information in Form DIR-8, company shall, within thirty days of such receipt, file Form DIR-9 with the Registrar.”
(iii) in sub-rule (5), after the words, letters and figure “Form DIR-10”, the words “and filed before the Regional Director.” shall be inserted;
