(1) Theuniversity shall seek obtainandretainaccreditationhmrespecmie national accreditation bodies for all its courses and programmes of study, asrequiredunder the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and the University Grants Commission BtablihentandMaintenance, of Standards inF'rivateUniversities) Regulations 2003, as amended h m time to time.
(2) The Univenity shall obtainpriorpermission/recognition from bodies like All IndiaCouncil offechnical Education, Bar Council of India, DistanceEducation Council.
Dental Council of India, IndianNursing Council, Medical Council of India, National Council for teacher Education, Pharmacy Council of India etc., for its courses and programmes of study.
(3) The University shall also comply withall other laws, desregdations in force in regardto maintenance of educational and other standards in the University.
Acts not invalidated on ground of defect etc.,.
61. No act or proceeding of the University shall be invalidated merely on the ground that a Council, Committee, Board or any other authority of the University has not been duly constituted or there is a vacancy in such Council etc., or o ground of any technical defect or demerit in this Act orregulations made thereunder or on ground of any irregularity in service ofnotice of meetings etc.,.
Transitory Powers
62. ( I ) Until the Councils, Committees, Boards etc., and the officers and employees of the University are established or appointed, the Vice Chancellor with the assistance of the Registrar, with the prior approval of the Pro Chancellor, discharge all the duties under this Act and no action taken by him shall be questioqed on ground that the procedure laid down in this Act has not been followed:
Provided that the transitory powers as aforesaid shall be available only for one year &om the date of commencement of this Act.
