Section 38: Protection of action taken in good faith

The Goa Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1964State Act of Goa · Act 6 of 1964

(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Custodian or any person action under the direction of the Custodian in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or of any rules or orders made thereunder.

(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government, Government or the Custodian or any other person in respect of any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or of any rules or orders made thereunder.
