Section 39: Execution of contracts

The Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007State Act of Goa · Act 11 of 2007

(1) Every contract entered into by the Marketing Board shall be in writing and signed on behalf of the Marketing Board by its Chairman and the Secretary or in the absence of the Chairman, by the Vice-Chairman and Secretary.

(2) No contract other than a contract executed as provided in sub-section (1) shall be binding on the Marketing Board.
