Section 11: Exemption of certain classes of buildings from Chapter

The Goa, Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1968State Act of Goa · Act 2 of 1969

Nothing in this Chapter shall apply—

(a) to a residential building the monthly rent of which does not exceed twenty five rupees;

(b) to a non-residential building the monthly rent of which does not exceed fifty rupees;

(c) to any building or buildings in the same city, town or village owned by any -6- company, association or firm, whether incorporated or not, and bonafide intended solely for the occupation of its officers, servants or agents.
