Section 57: Power to remove difficulty

The Goa, Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1968State Act of Goa · Act 2 of 1969

If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the 73[Government] may, by order, do anything not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, which appear to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty:

Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiration of two years from the commencement of this Act.
