Section 3: Appointment of Competent Authority

The Goa Cess on Products and Substances Causing Pollution (Green Cess) Act, 2013State Act of Goa · Act 15 of 2013

(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint any person to be the competent authority under this Act and appoint as many competent authorities as maybe required and assign to them such areas as may be specified in such notification.

(2) The competent authorities shall perform such functions and discharge such duties as may be prescribed.
