Every person who prevents the 105[Competent Authority or Director or any Special Officer or any officer in charge of a police station] from exercising his lawful power of entering thereon or there into, shall be punished with 106[simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees, or with both.]
