Section 23A: Nominal member

The Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001State Act of Goa · Act 36 of 2001

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 21, a society may admit any person as nominal member on payment of entrance fee as specified in the bye-laws.

(2) A nominal member shall not be entitled to any share, in any form whatsoever, in the profits or assets of the society and shall ordinarily not have any of the privileges and rights of a member.]
