Section 5: Societies which may be registered

The Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001State Act of Goa · Act 36 of 2001

(1) Only such society may be registered as a co-operative society under this Act which provides in its bye-laws for the social and economic betterment of its members through self help and mutual aid in accordance with the co-operative principles.

(2) A Society shall be registered with limited liability.
