Section 9: Maintenance of register

The Goa Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003State Rules of Goa · 2001

(1) The register to be maintained by the Registrar of the societies registered under this Act and the societies deemed to be registered as provided under sub-section (2) of section 128 of the Act shall be in Form ‘C’.

(2) The Registrar shall divide the register into parts, having regard to the jurisdiction of the person appointed under section 4 of the Act.

(3) The Registrar or the person appointed under section 4 of the Act shall assign each class or subclass of societies, a code symbol, for giving registration number to the societies and the societies shall be registered from the dates specified by him.
