Section 6A: Tree felling fee and security deposit

The permission granted under sub-section

(5) of section 9 shall be subject to the payment of a tree felling fee and security deposit as follows:-

(a) Tree felling fee 2[Rs. 1000/- -per tree].

(b) 3[Security deposit for ensuring regeneration of the area and replantation of trees or otherwise Rs. 1,000/- per tree in case of an individual and Rs. 5,000/- per tree in other cases] -2-
