(i) As soon as may be after the first meeting otthfe't^nfilidyritj' every member thereof shall take the oath of office' 'before'suth Officer' as the Lieutenant-Governor may specify in this" feHHlf, in the1'fortf^ set out in the First Schedule.

(2) No member who has not taken such oath shall yote or take part in the proceedings of any meeting nor shall he he included as a membei o} any committee constituted by the Panchayat.
