Section 12: Penalty

The Goa Employment (Conditions of Service) and Retirement Benefit Act, 2001State Act of Goa · Act 35 of 2001

An employer who engages any workman without his possessing an identity card, for a wage period exceeding one such wages period shall constitute an offence under this Act punishable with a fine which may extend to rupees five thousand.
