Section 9: Disposal of escheats

The Goa Escheats, Forfeiture and Bona Vacantia Act, 2024State Act of Goa · Act 21 of 2024

The escheats shall be disposed of in such manner as prescribed:

Provided that any immovable property which is escheated to the Government shall not be ordinarily sold until it has been in possession of the Government for ten years or more.
