Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Goa Excise Duty Act, 1964State Act of Goa · Act 5 of 1964

(1) This Act may be called the Goa 4[ ] Excise Duty Act, 1964.

(2) It extends to the whole of the 5[State of Goa].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be notified for different areas.
