Section 18: Procedure at meetings of Board

The Goa Homeopathy Council Act, 2001State Act of Goa · Act 63 of 2001

(1) Every meeting shall be presided over by the Chairman or in his absence by the Vice-Chairman.

(2) If at a meeting neither the Chairman nor the Vice-Chairman is present, the members present shall elect one of the members present to be the Chairman of the meeting and such Chairman shall perform all the duties and may exercise all the powers of the Chairman of the Board34[Council] when presiding at such meeting.

(3) All questions at a meeting of the Board35[Council] shall be decided by majority of votes of the members present and voting.

(4) In case of an equality of votes, the Chairman of the meeting shall have a second or casting vote.

(5) In order to constitute a meeting of the Board, four members present shall form its quorum.
