Section 20: Time limit for processing of applications

The Goa Investment Promotion Act, 2014State Act of Goa · Act 13 of 2014

(1) The Department or the Competent Authority, as the case may be, shall process the application within the time as prescribed which shall not be later than thirty days from the date of its receipt. The said time limit may extend further to such period as prescribed, in case additional information is to be sought.

(2) The Competent Authority may ask for additional information at any time before expiry of the period stipulated for the disposal of such clearance through the Board, with an advance copy of the same to the applicant.

(3) The Competent Authority shall, while dealing with such application, raise only once all the queries together.
