Lokayukta or the Upa-Lokayukta may, by a general or special order in writing, direct that any power conferred or duties imposed on him by or under this Act (except the power to make investigation or to report to the competent authority) may also be exercised or discharged by such officers, employees, agencies, referred to in section 8 and in the manners as may be specified in the order.
