Section 24: Filling of casual vacancy

If there is a vacancy of member elected under clauses

(d) and (e) of sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act, the President shall, subject to the provision contained in the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Act, take steps to fill it up as soon as possible by election in accordance with the rules as above.
