Section 70: Legal assistance at inquiry

At the hearing of the case by the Disciplinary Committee, the Executive Committee may be represented by a legal practitioner as an amicus curiae if found necessary, and the complainant as well as the practitioner also could be represented or assisted by their legal practitioners at their own cost:

Provided that, where any advice is tendered to the Committee by an assessor, if appointed under the Act, on any question of law, as to evidence, procedure or any other matter, such advice shall be subject to the provisions of the Act, even though it will not be binding on the Committee.
