Section 82: Resignation

The Goa Medical Council Rules, 1995State Rules of Goa · 1991

(1) The Registrar may resign his office by giving three months notice in writing to that effect to the President and such resignation shall take effect from the date of acceptance of such resignation by the Council. If he leaves his office without giving any notice as aforesaid, he shall be liable to pay three months salary in lieu of such notice.

(2) Any other employee of the Council may resign his office by giving one month’s notice in writing to the effect to the President if he is temporary, and three months notice if he is permanent, and such resignations shall take effect from the date of acceptance by the Council. In the case of failure to give the required notice the employee shall be liable to pay salaries as payable thereof in lieu of notice period.
