Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Goa Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 1996State Act of Goa · Act 5 of 1997

(1) The Act may be called the Goa Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 1996.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Goa.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, in the Official Gazette appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
