If any provision relating to public health contained in any other enactment in force in this Union territory is repugnant to any provision contained in this Act, the provision of this Act shall prevail and the provision contained in such other Act shall to the extent of the repugnancy, be void.

No labourer shall be engaged by the contractor at the construction sites unless he has a health card. Similar screenings for Malaria shall be done once in every 3 months. The responsibility of obtaining the health card shall rest entirely on the labourer”.
