Section 76A: Builder to take anti-larval measures

(1) Notwithstanding any law for the time being in force, it shall be the duty of every builder where construction activities are being carried on, to take adequate anti-larval measures at the construction site in consultation with the concerned Health Officer.

(2) The Health Officer shall have subject to the control of the Government, power to issue notice to the concerned builder for compliance of the provisions of sub-section (1) within the period as specified thereunder.

(3) Whenever the builder on whom notice is served under sub-section (2), fails to comply with the requirements within reasonable period as specified there under, the Health Officer shall take all required anti-larval measures as may be necessary at the construction site, and recover all expenses incurred thereunder at the rate prescribed under section 76B from the builder as arrears of land revenue under the law for the time being in force.
