Section 19: Appointment and functions of Committees

The Goa Rehabilitation Board Act, 2006State Act of Goa · Act 9 of 2006

(1) The Board may appoint committees consisting of such number of persons as it may think fit for the purpose of discharging such duties or performing such functions and on such terms and conditions, as may be laid down by regulations.

(2) The Chairman or such other person as he may nominate in this behalf shall preside over the meetings of the committees and the committees shall observe such rules of procedure in regard to transaction of business at these meetings as may be laid down by regulations.

(3) All proceedings of the committees shall be subject to confirmation by the Board.
