Section 3: Salary and Allowances of the Speaker

The Goa Salaries and Allowances of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker Act, 1964State Act of Goa · Act 4 of 1965

5(1) The Speaker shall be paid such salary, conveyance allowance, 6[travelling, sumptuary] and daily allowances and shall be entitled to such amenities [regarding residence, motor car and travel], as are 8[the Chief Minister] under the Goa 9[ ] Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act, 1964.

10[Provided that the Speaker shall be entitled, so long as he is not provided with residence, to a compensatory allowance of rupees ten thousand per month.]

11[(2) The Speaker shall also be paid a sumptuary allowance of 12{two thousand eight hundred rupees} per month]
