17[The Speaker and Deputy Speaker shall not be entitled to receive salary and allowances under the Goa Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly Act, 2004, except the allowances, advances and other benefits admissible to them as a Member of the Legislative Assembly under the provisions of the aforesaid Act, 2004.]
