Section 3: Establishment and Incorporation of Board

The Goa Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975State Act of Goa · Act 19 of 1975

(1) The Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a Board for the territory by the name of “the Goa, Daman and Diu Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education”.

(2) The Board shall be a body corporate by the name mentioned in sub-section (1) and shall have a perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall have power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, and to enter into contracts, and may by the said name sue and be sued.
