Section 1: Short title, extent, commencement and application

The Goa Shops and Establishments Act, 1973State Act of Goa · Act 13 of 1974

(1) This Act may be called the Goa 1[****] Shops and Establishments Act, 1973.

(2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu.

(3) It shall come into force in such areas and on such dates as the Government may, from time to time, by notification, appoint.
