Section 8: Cancellation of registration

The Goa Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025State Act of Goa · Act 23 of 2025

At any time, if it is found or brought to the notice of the Facilitator-cum-Inspector that the registration of any establishment has been obtained by misrepresentation or suppression of material facts or by submitting false or forged documents or false declaration or by fraud, and therefore, requires to be revoked, the Facilitator-cum-Inspector shall, after giving an opportunity of being heard, to the employer of the establishment, cancel the registration and remove such establishment from the register of establishments in the manner prescribed.
