Section 177: Quasi pupillary substitution

The Goa Succession, Special Notaries and Inventory Proceeding Act, 2012State Act of Goa · Act 23 of 2016

(1) The provisions of section 176 shall be applicable, irrespective of the age, when the child or other descendant is of unsound mind provided he is so declared by the court. This is called quasi pupillary substitution.

(2) Such substitution shall become ineffective if such unsoundness of mind ceases.
