Section 296: District and Sub-Districts

The Goa Succession, Special Notaries and Inventory Proceeding Act, 2012State Act of Goa · Act 23 of 2016

(1) For the purposes of this Act, the State Government shall form districts and sub-districts, and shall prescribe, and may alter, the limits of such districts and sub-districts.

(2) The formation of districts and sub-districts and every alteration of such limits shall be notified in the Official Gazette.

(3) Every such alteration shall take effect on such future date as may be mentioned in the Notification.
