Where any of the heirs has sold his undivided share in the inheritance to a stranger, or the moiety holder has sold his moiety, without notice to the co-heirs, the co-heirs may exercise the right of pre emption in the inventory proceeding within 60 days from the date of notice of the application by the vendees to be brought on record.
