Section 401: When co-heirs are called upon to give a list of assets

The Goa Succession, Special Notaries and Inventory Proceeding Act, 2012State Act of Goa · Act 23 of 2016

Where the head of the family declares that he is unable to give a list of some of the assets belonging to the inheritance on the ground that the said assets are in possession of some other co-heirs, such co-heirs shall be called upon to list them within such time limit as may be fixed by the court.

Thereafter, the provisions of section 399 shall be followed.
