1111.11.11.13(1)13 1111111, 2015 11111.11. 724(1) 1111111126 11111, 2015 1111 11.11.11 500 ('11) 11101112 1112015111111111‘11111‘1111111 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th November, 2016 G.S.R. 1088(E).--- In exercise 0f the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) read with clause (b) of sub—section (2) of section 30, read with section 30A. of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 (54 of 1987), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Railway Claims Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Seryiees ofChairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1989, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement—~-
(1) These rules may be called the Railway Claims Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Services of Chairman, ViooChairman and Members) Amendment Rules, 2016,
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the l"l day ofJanuary, 2016.
[WT mews 3(1)] use an WW : swarm 3 Substitution of new rule for rule 3:--— In the Railway Claims Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Services of Chuinnan, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1989, for rule 3, the following rule shall be subsu‘tuted, namely:- "3. Pay:-n- The Chairman Shall receive a pay ofrupees two lakh nnilfifty thousand per mensem, u Vice—Chairman shall receive a pay of rupees two latch and twenty five thousand per mensem and a Member shall receive pay in lewd-16 (Rs.205400—224400) ofpay matrix specified in Part A of the Schedule to the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 published vide G.S.R. 746(E) dated the 28"1 July, 2016. Provided that in the case afappaintment as Chairman, ViceChatrman or Member ofa person who has retired as a Judge oft: High Court, or who has retiredfrom service under the Central Government or a State Government and who is in receipt or has received 9/? or has become entitled to receive any retirement benefits, by way afpension, gratuity. employer ’5 contribution to a Contributoty Provident Fund or atherforms of retirement benefits, the pay shall be reduced by the gross amount o/pension or pensionary equivalent of employer’s contribution to the (Contributm'y Provident Fund or any otherform ofretirement benq‘its, ifany, drown, or to be drawn by him.

It is certified that no Chairman, Vice-Chairman and the Members of the Railway Claims Tribunal is likely to be affected adversely by the notification being given retrospective effect.
