(1) The State Government shall. By notification in the Official Gazette, constitute an Advisory Board for aerial ropeways.
1 [(2) The Advisory Board shall consist of a Chairperson who shall be the Chief Electrical Inspector and seven other members to be appointed by the State Government amongst the persons having knowledge or experience in the fields of ropeway, structural, mechanical, electrical Short title, extent and commencement.

Provided that the Board may invite an expert in the meeting of the Board and such invitee may take part in the meetings but shall not have right to vote in the meeting.]
(3) The State Government may, by general or special order, -
(a) define the duties of, and regulate the procedure of, the Advisory Board ;
(b) determine the tenure of office of the member of the Board ; and
(c) give direction as the payment of fees to, and the traveling expenses incurred by, any member of such Board in the performance of this duty.
