(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person in respect of anything in good faith done or intended to be done under or in pursuance of this Act, or for any damage caused by any action taken in good faith in carrying out the provisions of this Act.
(2) No prosecution under this Act shall be commenced without the previous sanction of the Collector, nor after six months from the date of the commission of the alleged offence.
21. The State Government may, by order direct that any power (except the power to make rules under section 22) exercisable by it under this Act shall be exercisable by such officers subordinate to the State Government and subject to such conditions, it any, as may be specified in the order.
